Rama Krishna T, PhD

Rama is the Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Sam.ai. He brings over 15 years of experience building enterprise applications and complex, data-driven platforms — ten of those years working alongside Raz Choudhury before Sam.ai was founded.

He holds a PhD in Machine Learning, a discipline that forms the technical foundation of everything Sam.ai does. His research background gives him a grounded perspective on what AI systems can do reliably and how to build them so they perform consistently at scale.

Rama leads Sam.ai's engineering team from Chennai, India, overseeing the architecture and development of the platform's core systems: the natural language understanding pipelines, the data infrastructure, and the AI models that power the platform's conversational and analytical capabilities.

His approach to engineering prioritises robustness and maintainability — systems designed to grow with the businesses that depend on them. The Chennai team he leads has been central to Sam.ai's product from its earliest days.
